WETEX 2027 · Dubai
DEWA organises WETEX, and its 2026 floor map gave the utility four stands of its own, so many exhibitors are also selling to the organiser. Lazulite, whose crews have worked seven WETEX editions since 2016, builds stands for solar, water, grid and EV charging companies. Each carries kiosks, LED walls or scale models from our catalogue, kept running by an engineer until the final close. WETEX 2027 is expected at Dubai World Trade Centre in October, with dates still to be set.
Show facts
WETEX, the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition, is an annual show that Dubai Electricity and Water Authority has organised in Dubai since 1999.
Show details checked: 2 November 2026
WETEX covers water, power and the move to clean energy, from irrigation and wastewater to renewables, green hydrogen and decarbonisation. DEWA presents it as a platform for the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050 and the Dubai Net Zero Carbon Emissions Strategy 2050. The first aims to meet all of Dubai's energy needs from clean sources by 2050.
In 2026 a Water Platform ran daily seminars in Sheikh Saeed Hall 3. The Green Mobility Zone gathered electric and hydrogen vehicles, charging technology and fleet management, and a Delegation Zone hosted government meetings. The 12th World Green Economy Summit took Sheikh Rashid Hall, and 13 international pavilions joined the show.
DEWA reported 3,100 exhibitors and more than 50,000 visitors for the 2025 edition, across 95,000 square metres. Its participation terms promise B2B and B2G meetings, supplier relationship workshops and DEWA site visits. Government buyers there ask procurement questions, so bring the test reports behind every product you show.
DEWA has not announced WETEX 2027 dates, so plan around October. Eight of the eleven editions since 2016 opened in that month. The 28th ran from Tuesday 20 to Thursday 22 October 2026, with exhibition hours of 10am to 6pm.
Dubai World Trade Centre is the expected home of WETEX 2027, as it was from 2022 to 2026. The 23rd edition, in 2021, moved for one year to Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo 2020 Dubai.
DEWA's payment date comes first at WETEX: in 2026 the space balance was due on 15 August, after which cancelled space was non-refundable. Space-only designs and electrical supply requests then go to DEWA's official contractor by the deadline the exhibitor manual sets. Lazulite confirms each 2027 date when you book. Inside five weeks of opening, only a modular stand still fits; call +971 50 173 8408.

Packing crates may not stay behind a WETEX stand: DEWA's 2026 terms sent every labelled crate to storage before 8am on the first day. Custom stands come from Lazulite's Dubai workshop and modular systems from stock. Each plan books that crate storage and holds dismantling until the official close.
Under DEWA's 2026 terms, exhibitors answered for keeping exhibits inside each hall's floor load, which limits the full-size plant a stand can carry. A Miniature Model with Projection Mapping can stand in for a pumping station or solar field. A 3.0 Transparent OLED Portrait lays live readings over a smart meter.
WETEX exhibitor badges are for stand staff alone, so in 2026 DEWA gave exhibitors visitor passes for customers. Lazulite pre-registers those guests on Event Registration & Badging Systems and checks them in at Interactive Kiosks. Each contact is filed by sector, such as utility, regulator or EPC contractor.
Stand staff entered the WETEX halls at 8am in 2026, two hours before opening. Our engineer comes in with them to power up screens, reset demonstration timers and test each kiosk, then stays until the 6pm close.
DEWA's 2026 terms let indoor equipment run only in short demonstrations of about one to five minutes. Post a timetable for your pump, electric machine or charger, and let an indoor LED video wall replay each run between slots.
The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park is expected to pass 8,060 megawatts by 2030, and WETEX exhibitors were offered tours of it. A Miniature Model with projected layers lets buyers study your own solar or water project array by array.
Charge point operators held their own forum at WETEX 2026, alongside the Green Mobility Zone. On a Dynamic LED Table, a fleet manager places chargers across a depot and sees the site's electrical load rise with each one.
Intelligent water networks and advanced reverse osmosis were both seminar topics at WETEX 2026. Set a valve or sensor token on a Tangible Table, and its stretch of network shows pressure, flow and leak alerts.
WETEX space-only designs go to DEWA's official contractor through its online approval portal. Lazulite's set lists each machine's weight, every electrical point and any timed demonstration, so loads and circuits show on the first submission.
DEWA's 2026 space contract asked exhibitors using their own builder to notify both DEWA and the official contractor 45 days before the first show day. Lazulite drafts that notice, then registers each crew member through the manual's contractor process.
The 2026 manual gave every stand electrical installation at WETEX to the official contractor, for safety reasons. Lazulite sets out your power, rigging and internet requirements and places each service order for you, through the channel that manual names. Exhibitors also carried public liability cover.
Every unit you plan to run, with its weight and power draw, decides where the WETEX layout puts plinths, sockets and the store.
DEWA's official contractor receives a design with each circuit, load and demonstration marked, so approval and the electrical request travel together.
Screens, kiosks and demonstration timers run as one system in Lazulite's Dubai workshop before anything leaves for Dubai World Trade Centre.
Our crew finishes every surface and circuit during build-up, so the stand is ready when DEWA inspects at 8am on opening day.
Dismantling waits for the official close on the last day; running equipment then returns to your team before the stand comes down.
Equipment that runs on the stand is the first WETEX cost line, adding plinths, timers and dedicated circuits from the official contractor. Per square metre, modular systems typically come to AED 1,000 to 2,000 and custom joinery to AED 1,500 to 3,500.
Every 2026 WETEX sponsorship tier included stand space, from 60 square metres for Gold up to 350. Other exhibitors book through the Exhibit page on wetex.ae, and DEWA invoices space apart from any build. We size your power, rigging and internet, lodge those orders on your behalf and itemise each venue charge. UAE VAT is 5%.
A Miniature Model moves for less than a full-size pump skid and needs no floor-load check. Over WETEX's usual three show days, an indoor LED video wall typically hires at AED 300 to 650 per square metre of screen each day.

WETEX leaves builders a short build-up window, so Lazulite pre-assembles each stand in Dubai Production City and installs it in finished sections.
Decarbonisation and green mobility were both on DEWA's 2026 WETEX sector list. At MIITE 2026 in ADNEC, Lazulite's custom stand for Bluecherry and Etihad Rail ran an app on the carbon saved by rail passengers and freight.
DEWA offered 2026 exhibitors free company and product registration and letters of recommendation for exhibit products. Every figure on your screens comes from your approved datasheets, signed off by your technical team before loading, so stand claims match your DEWA registration.

No, except inside a sponsorship. DEWA sells space under a participation contract, and each 2026 sponsorship tier came with 60 to 350 square metres of it. Some national pavilions, such as India's through CBIP, offered discounted stall rates. Exhibitors did get free product registration with DEWA.
Let's build it together
Decide first which units will run on your WETEX stand; they set the plinths, power request and demonstration notice. Send that list with your stand number for a first concept and an indicative cost range; the quote is fixed once you approve the design. Call +971 50 173 8408 once DEWA confirms your space.
