Web Summit Qatar is a four-day technology conference in Doha that connects founders in the Middle East with investors, partners and media. Web Summit runs it with the Permanent Web Summit Organising Committee, chaired by the Government Communications Office director. Content tracks span AI, venture capital, money, energy and new media.
Web Summit Qatar's DECC floor mixes partner booths, lounges, national pavilions and startups grouped by industry vertical. Partners in 2026 included Microsoft, IBM, Qatar Investment Authority, Qatar Development Bank, Startup Qatar and Ooredoo. Spain's pavilion took booth PS11, and Germany ran a startup pavilion.
QNA counted 1,637 startups and close to 1,000 investors among Web Summit Qatar 2026's 30,274 participants from 127 countries. Women founded 38% of those startups. Attendees book meetings in the Web Summit Qatar app, so hold one staff member back for booked slots.
Web Summit Qatar 2027 runs from Sunday 31 January to Wednesday 3 February 2027, according to qatar.websummit.com. The site has not yet posted the schedule or hours. In 2026, day one was an evening Opening Night, and in both 2025 and 2026 three full floor days followed.
Web Summit Qatar 2027 returns to Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, or DECC, in West Bay, its venue since 2024. Visit Qatar names DECC Metro Station on the Red Line as the nearest stop. Qatar Tourism lists 29,035 square metres of covered space and parking for 2,800 vehicles.
Build deadlines for Web Summit Qatar sit in each edition's partner hub. For the 2026 edition, technical drawings, rigging plans and two-storey designs were due on 8 December 2025, and the partner store closed a week later. The 2025 and 2026 manuals banned cutting, welding and spray guns at DECC, so Lazulite prefabricates Web Summit Qatar stands and lounges in Dubai. Modular Exhibition Stands suit late bookers. Custom Pavilion Building fits startup pods and meeting rooms into one pavilion footprint.
In 2026, provided-build walls at Web Summit Qatar could not carry personal screens, so Lazulite's demos stand on their own bases. A Tangible Table responds when an investor places a token, and a Dynamic LED Wall With Holobox shows hardware in 3D. A Curved LED Kiosk or 3.0 Transparent OLED Portrait suits a provided-build booth.
The 2026 hub banned single-use plastics, flyers included, on provided-build stands, so every Web Summit Qatar takeaway goes to the visitor's phone. Interactive Kiosks and QR sign-up tag each contact as investor, partner, buyer or media.
From opening day on 31 January to load-out on 3 February, Lazulite engineers stay at DECC for Web Summit Qatar. They keep sound under the 60-decibel limit in the 2026 manual and lower it at prayer times.
Web Summit Qatar partners can host startups on their own stand, and the 2026 hub left the design of those spaces to the partner. Lazulite builds matching pods, each with a kiosk and graphics that change overnight.
Web Summit Qatar runs pre-scheduled investor meetings and 45-minute Mentor Hours for startups. An Interactive Kiosk lets a partner do the same, booking 20-minute slots in a screened corner.
PITCH is Web Summit Qatar's live startup competition on its largest stages. A 3D Hologram fan on your stand can loop a short pitch from each hosted founder for visitors who missed it.
The Peninsula counted 841 international media at Web Summit Qatar 2026. An AI Photobooth sends each visitor a branded portrait to post.
In 2026, Web Summit Qatar's Production team approved each partner-build stand, then passed it to Qatar Civil Defence, after which no changes were allowed. The 2025 manual asked for 3D views, plans, structural calculations and fire certificates. Lazulite prepares that pack, and in 2026 Civil Defence inspected finished stands at 8am the day before opening.
For Web Summit Qatar 2026, each partner named its stand builder to the Partner Success manager, who invited the builder onto Monday.com for approvals. In 2026, builders booked vehicle slots through Voyage Control and arrived on their assigned load-in day, in hard hats, high-visibility vests and steel toe boots.
For Web Summit Qatar, Lazulite drafts your electrical, rigging and connectivity requirements and places the orders for you. In 2026 they went through the organiser's services plan and partner store. Power came only from DECC's supplier, and secondary rigging only from the official supplier. Each rigging point took 200 kilograms of static load unless approved, under the 2025 and 2026 manuals.

Lazulite draws Web Summit Qatar stands to the organiser's keyline for each stand size, since the 2025 manual barred tapered walls and changed wall heights.
Every panel, kiosk and screen bound for Web Summit Qatar is assembled once in Lazulite's Dubai workshop and run for a full show day.
In 2026, Web Summit Qatar stands had to be finished by 8pm two days before opening, and Lazulite's crew plans to finish a shift earlier.
Web Summit Qatar dismantling starts once the organiser allows it on 3 February, 7pm in 2026, and your lead file arrives before the crates leave.

A provided-build booth with freestanding technology is the lower-cost route onto the Web Summit Qatar floor. In 2026, the organiser supplied its walls, carpet and base power. Indicative rental for a hologram fan is AED 1,500 to 3,000 a day. An AI Photobooth is typically AED 3,000 to 6,000 for each show day.

Every Web Summit Qatar edition so far has used DECC, which sits on Lazulite's Qatar venue list beside Lusail International Circuit.
The 2025 manual barred deliveries to DECC during the event, so a spare ships with each critical Lazulite unit. We own the 40+ products we install, Tangible Tables and Kuka Robotic Arms among them.
The 2026 hub forbade routers, switches, access points and unauthorised hotspots on provided-build stands at Web Summit Qatar. Lazulite's demos and lead kiosks run offline or on connectivity the organiser approves.
