Engineers Who Build and Run the Helix
The engineers who programme your helix also install it and operate it, with no sub-contracted crew in between.

Kinetic DNA · Dubai & GCC
Kinetic DNA is a 3.6 metre column of rotating LED modules that twists into a spiral like a strand of DNA. Lazulite rents and custom builds it for atriums, lobbies, stands and launches across Dubai and the GCC. Each sequence is programmed, installed and run by our own engineers.

Module detailQuick facts
Kinetic DNA is a floor-mounted sculpture made of stacked LED modules that turn around a central vertical axis. Offset turns twist the stack into a helix, while aligned turns form one tall screen with video on both faces.

Each package includes the LED helix, motion controller, media player and levelled base, plus delivery, installation, teardown and an on-site engineer. Your show arrives already programmed.
A synchronised controller turns the stacked LED modules in sequence. Small offsets between neighbours twist the stack into a spiral, and zero offset lines it up flat.
Each face uses 160 by 320 mm LED panels at 1.86 mm pitch, giving 688 by 1720 pixels. Both faces together carry 1376 by 1720. Video arrives over HDMI and movement commands over LAN.
The helix plays MP4 video made for its tall, narrow frame. Motion and video share one timeline, so colour can climb the strands as they turn. Molecules, data streams, product films and brand palettes all suit the shape.

A separate Lazulite kinetic design, with rotating blocks that can be customised in size, shape and motion pattern.

du's GITEX 2021 stand featured a Lazulite volumetric LED display, its Powered by Human theme floating like a hologram.

For MoIAT at MIITE 2026, Lazulite set a mini holotube beside a tangible table on the ministry's stand.
Rental covers the helix, base, controller, media player, an engineer and your programmed show. Runs last from one day to several months.
A custom build can change the height, finish, base cladding or motion range to suit your space. Our engineers design mechanics and content together, and we can store the build between uses.
We usually install the helix the day before opening and test its motion that night. Dismantling after close takes a few hours, and both slots are agreed with the venue.
The engineers who programme your helix also install it and operate it, with no sub-contracted crew in between.
Since 2016 Lazulite has delivered live projects in all six GCC countries, from show floors to permanent spaces.
Each sequence runs on the full helix in our Dubai workshop before dispatch. Motors, modules and cabling are maintained by our own team.

We confirm your story, viewing angles, floor loading, ceiling height and power before design starts.
Our team scripts the spiral moves and renders MP4 content to the 688 by 1720 pixel faces.
The complete show runs on the column in Dubai, and you approve it on video or in person.
Engineers lay the base, level it, stack the modules and stay on site to run every show.
We dismantle the helix, then send a short report covering running hours and any issues.
The base covers roughly 1.4 m square, plus a clear margin around the turning modules. The column stands about 3.6 m tall, so allow extra headroom for lifting during installation.
Plan a single-phase 32 A supply, rated at about 7.36 kW. Content runs over HDMI and motion commands over LAN, and the control set-up also uses a 2.4 GHz network.
The helix stands on a levelled floor base of reinforced MDF, which spreads its load. Venues receive our load figures and drawings for approval. Where the public passes close, we add a low barrier.
Controlled indoor lighting keeps the LED faces crisp. Modules travel in protective cases, and we check lift sizes and load-in slots in Riyadh, Doha or Dubai.
Run length, content work, programming time and venue access set the baseline. Long lobby placements cost less per day than a short show booking.
Renting the existing helix keeps upfront cost down and needs less lead time. Commissioning a custom version costs more, but you own it and can reuse it.
Bespoke 3D animation, extra motion sequences, extended hours and additional crew each appear as their own quote lines, so you choose what to include.
Helix projects usually fall into the three bands shown here. Share venue, dates and run length, and we reply within one working day with a range.

A helix that is yours
Kinetic DNA moves its LED modules, so the column changes shape as well as content. A Curved LED Kiosk stays still and costs less, relying on video alone.
Choose the helix for an atrium focal point, a science story or a launch reveal. It suits spaces where people stop and watch a full cycle.
Choose the kiosk for wayfinding, menus and brand messages along a walkway. It also suits tighter budgets, lower ceilings and spaces that need several units.
Start with ceiling height and dwell time. Under 4 m of clear height, or with passing traffic only, choose a kiosk. Otherwise, the helix earns its place.
Can't find your answer? Speak with our Dubai team.
Yes. Lazulite rents Kinetic DNA for single events, multi-day exhibitions and longer lobby placements. Rental covers delivery, installation, a programmed show, an engineer on site and teardown. We can run your supplied MP4 files or create content for the helix. Tell us your dates and venue, and we will confirm availability.
Let's build it together
Describe your space, story and dates. Our Dubai team will return a placement plan, show outline and budget range for Kinetic DNA. One team will programme, install and run the helix with you, from a single launch night to a year in a lobby. Your brief can reach us by email, phone or WhatsApp.
