Intersec Global 2027 · Dubai
Security, fire and safety exhibitors at Intersec Global use Lazulite for space-only and modular stands at Dubai World Trade Centre. Our engineers wire camera walls and lit site models for integrators and civil defence buyers, and work the stand with your team. Eight of the ten Intersec editions held since 2016 had Lazulite crews on the build. The 28th edition, the first held under the Intersec Global name, runs from 12 to 14 January 2027.
Show facts
Intersec Global is an annual, trade-only security, safety and fire protection exhibition in Dubai, organised by Messe Frankfurt Middle East and called Intersec until 2026.
Show details checked: 2 November 2026
Under its new name, Intersec Global still spans counter-terrorism, CBRNe defence and border security through to suppression systems, passive fire protection and workplace PPE. Its patron is H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Ports and Borders Security Council. Dubai Civil Defence and SIRA, the Security Industry Regulatory Agency, are its government supporters.
Intersec Global 2027 runs five product domains, from National Security & Law Enforcement, home to command and control systems, to Safety & Wellbeing. They fill DWTC's numbered Halls 2 to 8, the three Sheikh Saeed Halls, Trade Centre Arena and the Outdoor Display Area, among others. Every conference and workshop on the programme is CPD certified.
Police forces, civil defence, customs and port authorities share the Intersec floor with MEP contractors, installers and guarding firms. In 2026 that came to 44,764 trade visitors from 151 countries, the organiser reports. System integrators arrive with compatibility questions, so put a technical bench with spec sheets beside your live demonstration.
Intersec Global 2027 runs from Tuesday 12 to Thursday 14 January, with the halls open from 10am until 6pm. The Global Readiness Summit takes 13 and 14 January. The Intersec Global Awards gala closes the opening day, choosing winners from 95 finalists in 17 categories.
Intersec Global 2027 is held across Dubai World Trade Centre, on Sheikh Zayed Road about ten minutes by car from DXB, the organiser says. The complex adjoins the World Trade Centre metro station.
Intersec's 2027 exhibitor manual, still unpublished, will set dates for drawings, badges and technical orders, so Lazulite plans backwards from 12 January. Inside eight weeks of opening, only a modular Intersec stand fits, built in three to five weeks from the brief. Phone +971 50 173 8408 to hold a slot.

Intersec's raw space arrives with no stand fittings, flooring or electrics, so every space-only booking needs a builder. Custom stands are fabricated in Lazulite's Dubai workshop, and modular systems cover shorter lead times. Either route covers drawings, freight, installation at DWTC and removal once Intersec closes at 6pm on 14 January.
Each of Intersec's five product domains needs its own live test. For Surveillance & Physical Security, a Kuka Robotic Arm carries a target past your cameras while the analytics track it. Fire detection and alarm makers can mount a detector behind a 3.0 Transparent OLED Portrait.
Intersec's official event app turns staff phones into badge scanners that export to Excel, the organiser says. Lazulite adds check-in kiosks and sign-up stations that feed one lead file, tagged by product domain and buyer type. The app's matchmaking programme books meetings in advance.
Live scenarios reset between every group on an Intersec stand. Lazulite engineers keep camera feeds and kiosks running from 10am to 6pm on all three days. The awards gala closes the opening day, so a winner's result can be on your screens before doors open on 13 January.
Control Room Live puts Intersec visitors at operator consoles facing a shared video wall, and your stand can offer the same seat. A Dynamic LED Wall carries your video management software's live feeds and alerts while a buyer works the console.
Perimeter security is hard to show inside an Intersec hall, so a Miniature Model of a port, airport or other critical infrastructure site does it. Fence sensors, thermal cameras and access control gates light in turn as an intrusion detection scenario plays.
Firefighting vehicles, rescue trucks and patrol cars belong in Intersec's Outdoor Display Area, which the organiser books for trucks, barriers and watchtowers. A Curved LED Kiosk beside the appliance shows rescue tools, life safety features and pump data during tours.
Safety & Wellbeing at Intersec covers PPE, occupational safety and HAZMAT, and its HSE buyers train crews for confined space entry. A VR Pod runs that drill in your responder PPE and scores each visitor on screen.
Intersec stand designs go to Messe Frankfurt Middle East through Exhibitor Online Orders, its portal for all technical orders. Lazulite prepares the drawing pack for your DWTC hall, with any vehicle display drawn to the Outdoor Display Area plan.
Only valid contractor pass holders may enter the Intersec halls during build-up. DWTC issues these passes through its Contractor+ portal, where Lazulite registers each crew member. Intersec's hall access policy also asks crew without an Emirates ID for a passport copy, photo, insurance and signed liability waiver.
Power, rigging and internet for an Intersec stand are ordered in Exhibitor Online Orders. Lazulite prepares those requirements and submits the service orders for you. DWTC's utilities team agrees the power plan with us, and DXB Live handles all top rigging. Outdoor exhibitors clear any live demonstration with the organiser's Show Team first.
Product domain comes first in an Intersec brief, then hall and stand number, and Lazulite returns a visitor flow sized for group tours.
Messe Frankfurt Middle East's operations team receives the drawing pack as soon as the 2027 manual opens, with each product domain's exhibits marked.
Camera feeds and analytics run on the finished Intersec walls in our workshop through December, before anything ships.
Crew in safety shoes and high-visibility vests assemble the stand at DWTC; each live scenario gets one full run before 10am on 12 January.
At 6pm on 14 January the halls close; your merged lead file has already arrived, and the crew starts taking the stand down.
Outdoor vehicle displays and robotic camera rigs add engineering time to an Intersec budget, beyond what the floor area and build type already set. As a guide, these are Lazulite's typical build rates at Intersec: AED 1,000 to 2,000 modular, against AED 1,500 to 3,500 custom, per square metre.
Intersec floor space is booked with Messe Frankfurt Middle East through its Enquire to Exhibit form. As a guide, its published 2027 entry rate for raw space is USD 595 per square metre. Concourse space facing Halls 1 to 8 is USD 750, and outdoor space USD 455. Your Lazulite quote sits on top, and we enter your power, rigging and internet orders in Messe Frankfurt's Exhibitor Online Orders portal.
A vehicle or watchtower display often belongs outdoors at Intersec, where the published rate per square metre is lower. The hall stand then carries one camera wall. Indoor LED video walls on Intersec stands typically rent at AED 300 to 650 daily per square metre of screen.

Dubai Civil Defence ran its own pavilion at Intersec 2026, showing a firefighting drone and a snorkel vehicle for high-rise rescue. Lazulite builds for that kind of authority, and for Abu Dhabi Civil Defence it built Sanad, an AI assistant that runs fully offline.
A failed screen on an Intersec stand is replaced within the show day, from Lazulite's own stock. We own the Dynamic LED Walls, Kuka Robotic Arms, kiosks and VR Pods we install.
Intersec opens on 12 January, so Lazulite's Dubai workshop builds your stand through December and the year-end break, managed from Dubai Production City.

Yes. Intersec Global is the Dubai show that ran as Intersec for 27 editions. Messe Frankfurt Middle East launched the new name in 2026, and the 28th edition runs 12 to 14 January 2027. Intersec Saudi Arabia, in Riyadh, is a separate show.
