An innovation centre is a permanent space where visitors learn, test ideas and see new technology at work. On a campus, it often joins a maker space, an immersive learning lab and a showcase zone. Buyers also call it an innovation hub, an innovation lab or a future skills lab. Lazulite plans the technology, content and visitor route for each zone.
Most learning innovation centres combine four zones. A welcome zone sets out the story on an LED wall or a campus model. A knowledge hub holds touch screens and tables for self-guided research. An immersive lab runs VR, AR or a projected room for group lessons. A play zone uses games and sensor floors, so younger visitors learn by doing.
Most single learning labs on proven Lazulite hardware open about two months after the brief is agreed. A full campus innovation centre with custom content usually takes four to seven months. Plan around the academic calendar, because most campuses want installs finished during term breaks.
Lazulite engineers sit with your faculty, estates and IT teams from the first workshop. Together they agree which subjects each zone will teach and how classes will move through it. Power, data, screen heights and sight lines then go into the fit-out drawings early.

A physical lab gives students hands-on time with hardware, guided by a teacher in the room. A virtual campus experience reaches applicants, parents and partners who cannot visit, on a website or headset. The lab costs more to run, while the virtual experience costs less per viewer but offers less teamwork.

An innovation centre budget depends on floor area, number of zones, hardware, custom content and support after opening. One lab on proven hardware costs least, while a multi-zone centre with AI guides and a virtual tour costs more. Lazulite shares a budget range after a site visit and a short brief.
Proven products such as the VR Pod or the Tangible Table cost less upfront than custom mechanics. Software covers interaction logic, scoring and any AI conversation system. Learning content can take a large share, because each lesson needs its own 3D, motion and text.
After opening, plan for power, maintenance, spare parts, headset hygiene and content refreshes. Lazulite's annual support plans include scheduled visits, remote checks and refresher training. We price support alongside the build, so you see the full lifetime cost.

Campus estates teams approve layouts, loads and finishes before any install, and landlords may add fit-out rules. Any change to fire and life safety systems may need the relevant authority's approval. Lazulite prepares the drawings and tracks each approval against your opening term.
Campus IT teams set rules for networks, accounts and student data. Lazulite agrees these before the design is fixed. Systems can run on a separate network or fully offline when policy requires it. Student data stays on your servers when policy requires it.
Learning spaces for children need age-appropriate content, clear staff sight lines and safe headset use. Lazulite sets screen and table heights for wheelchair users and younger pupils. We also plan session lengths and headset cleaning routines.
