An immersive exhibition is a walk-through space where content surrounds visitors and responds to them, instead of sitting behind glass. It joins projection, LED, sound, light and sensors into one story, told zone by zone. Immersive experience design plans the route, the story and the technology together, so each zone feels like part of one journey.

A single brand immersive zone on proven hardware is usually ready within six to ten weeks of the brief. A ticketed exhibition with several zones and new content typically needs four to six months. A permanent centre with full fit-out works can take longer. Content usually takes longest, so lock the story and floor plan early.

Before an immersive exhibition opens, the venue owner signs off the fit-out drawings. The relevant authority handles fire and life safety approval and may review exits, materials and alarms. A ticketed show may also need an event or entertainment permit from the relevant authority. Our team draws up the submissions and follows each approval through to your opening date.
Immersive zones draw steady power and give off heat from projectors, LED and computers, so cooling must be planned early. Blackout and acoustic treatment stop light and sound spilling between zones. A site survey confirms power, data, ceiling loads and air conditioning before Lazulite fixes the design.
Set a safe capacity for each zone and use timed entry to keep visitors moving. Plan clear exits, step-free routes and seating for people who need a break. Flashing light and loud sound need warnings at the entrance. Lazulite marks routes, queue space and emergency lighting on the floor plan.
